Plan has been in existence since 1978 and opens
approximately 265,000 cases for Plan members each year.
Approximately 16,800 are opened at the National office and
the remainder are opened in one of our Plan staff offices.
Four UAW Membership
Coordinators are assigned to the Plan. The Membership
Coordinators act as liaison between the members and the Plan
and are involved in client service complaints, eligibility
questions, benefit questions, offices and other matters.
The GM liaisons are Ed Parker and Al Yelle. The Ford
liaison is Jeff Hartzell and DaimlerChrysler's is Donald
Harris. They can be contacted by calling the National
office in Detroit.
